Isaiah

Whoops! I just got back from work and remembered I never posted the draft that I wrote today!! Well here it is now, better late than never I guess!
Today has actually been pretty good so far. Now yesterday is another story.. let's just say Twister had a lot of control yesterday and I didn't try to fight him. I didn't reach my hand out to God, even though I know it was right there waiting for me.


But, today I'm doing better... I've been trying to get back into doing my Bible study every morning. I find that usually when I do, I am prepared with scripture to fight back at Twister whenever he throws something at me. I found two verses in Isaiah yesterday: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10 and also, "For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." Isaiah 41:13. I have also been reading Isaiah 40:29, "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak" and Isaiah 40:31 "but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not grow faint."

I am weary, I am weak and I have been especially in these last few weeks. But, He says He gives "strength to the weary", He "increases the power of the weak". Someday, I will soar on wings like eagles (or maybe Butterflies!)
